They have appeared across many cultures, continents, and taken on many different forms and abilities.
While many races tend to think them immortal, they are not, just incredibly long-lived.
Dragons are inherently magical beings and are warm-blooded reptiles. They have no biological relationship to mammals.
Most dragons prefer lairs that are caves that give them easy access to the sky for flying, others prefer underground caverns that inhibit flight, and but still others are aquatic or ethereal and without physical form.
